Wowza!

Tyler is four months old today! (Happy Four Month Old Birthday, Baby!!! I love you, <3) He is progressing very well, he is probably about 14lbs 5oz by now which is really good :) He is giggling so so much, and just cooing all the time. He can hold a conversation really well, it's so cute. He hasn't officially rolled over yet, but when you're holding onto his arm and can help him get it from underneath his body when he is on his side he can roll over. On his own, he turns onto his side though which I am very proud of. He's in the 80th percentile for his height which means he is going to be tall and slim just like his daddy-o :) He has also learned that with his hands he can grab things and now he holds onto his toys, pulls hair and can bat at his rattle and music sounds from his activity gym. He loves it when I take pictures of him, and I take ALOT. I do not want to miss a single thing. We got Tyler a brand new pediatrician who is FREAKING AWESOME. I love him, lol. & Tyler will be having some work done on his circumcision in the next few months to get the adhesions fixed. Other then that, he's a really healthy boy! He just got his 4 month immunization and he was such a trooper! On another note, Ryan has been keeping busy working so so much but I'm very proud of him because without him working his butt off we wouldn't have the cable I'm currently watching, the electricity I'm using to type this blog entry because my laptops plugged in, & tyler and I and himself would not be able to eat. Our relationship is going really well as well. :) I had a little pregnancy scare last week.. *edit- I was scared, Ryan didn`t think I was even pregnant* Needless to say, after I took a test it confirmed I was not pregnant so yay. I forgot to start taking the birth control pills on the sunday after though, so I`m not sure if I can now or not. If anyone knows, please let me know in the comments or via twitter (@amandaamcmillan). I've been doing really well as well, just keeping busy at home since we aren't done unpacking yet. It's taken awhile but we are finally starting to get more into the groove of things so I think it will get a lot easier right away. :) Anyway, this was just a quick update to let ya'll know how we are doing. Keepin' Busy!

So Ryan has been working like non-stop it seems, it's super depressing! We still aren't even finished unpacking completely and it's driving me absolutely crazy. I've been trying to become this superwoman lately. I didn't realize how hard it actually is to try to be the best mom, while keeping on top of housework and cooking! We have a huge mountain of laundry that needs to be done because I need Ryan's help while doing it because we don't have laundry in our apartment and it'd be hard to keep an eye on Tyler while doing laundry at the same time. I try to clean while Tyler is sleeping, but lately that has been my "relaxation" time and then I end up getting stuck behind on dishes. If anyone has any advice to give me as a first time mother and "house-girlfriend" (LOL!) please do comment on this because I'm open for any ideas. Anyway, Tyler is sleeping in his swing so I better go make dinner so Ryan has something to eat when he gets home.

Meet Tyler!

This is our BEAUTIFUL baby boy named Tyler Ryan James :) He is currently 3 months and 2 weeks old! He was born on June 28th, 2011 :) Currently, Tyler cannot roll over but he does roll onto his side and then rolls back onto his back, it's actually pretty funny. He is "talking" a lot, and he doesn't really cry that often. LUCKILY, for me, he sleeps from about 12:30AM until about 7-7:30AM and then wakes up to eat. He has been doing that since he was about 3 weeks old, so I love itttt!! He is a very happy baby and just an overall joy in our lives. There's not much to write on him because he is so little but I will be posting new stuff as it happens so keep an eye out, & if you have any questions just comment!

Meet Ryan and I.

Haha! Ryan and I are extremely interesting people. We have the dirtiest mind which plenty thought we would grow out of after having a baby, but I assure you.. It got worse. We are a perfect match for each other and we were completely meant to be. Lets back up a little to where we met. This is so romantic (NOT!). Ryan and I met while we were both working at Chuck E. Cheese's. (How cute, isn't it?). Fast forwarding through some drinking, walks home at 1AM and lots of cute sappy text messages we began our relationship on August 11th, 2010. Since our relationship has started we have both had this bond where we sort of just knew that we were meant for each other. Now of course, we're stuck with each other for life which I am perfectly content with. (Wow, I sound like one of those girls who got pregnant because I wanted to be with him for the rest of my life. FYI, That's definitely NOT what I was thinking.)
Long story made short, I'm 18 (turning 19 in December) and Ryan just turned 21 in September. He works his butt off full time plus tons of overtime to make sure that we all have a roof over our head, food on our table, and clothes to wear. I am VERY thankful to have a man like Ryan. Meanwhile, I stay at home watching our little munchkin while debating on going back to school to become a legal assistant. I'm trying to figure out the whole "housewife who has cleaning done and dinner on the table for when the man gets home" kinda thing but I am having a little bit of trouble adjusting.

That's basically us though! I will post more about Tyler later on tomorrow. :)

It's Nice To Finally Meet You.

I decided to start a new blog that isn't so personal just so people can keep up with what is going on in our lives.  Before I start, I guess I should introduce you to "Our Little Family." Our family currently consists of Myself (Amanda-Lee), my partner for life Ryan, our b-e-a-utiful son Tyler and last but not least our two cats (who are sisters) Scotti and Jamie.
